Before founding Smart Move Brasil, Diego worked inside the immigration department of the Brazilian Federal Police, dealing directly with the entry and residency processes of foreign nationals in Brazil. His understanding of the system is not theoretical. It comes from hands-on experience inside it.
Having lived abroad himself, Diego also understands the client’s experience: the uncertainty, the bureaucracy, and the difficulty of navigating an unfamiliar system with confidence.
Smart Move Brasil was born when he decided to leave the Federal Police and dedicate himself fully to helping foreigners in Brazil in a more personal, practical, and complete way.
The goal was clear: to create a service built around the client’s real experience, not around fragmented providers who each handle only one part of the move.
The result is Smart Move Brasil: a founder-led business that combines immigration insight, relocation support, and local property guidance in one place.
